Skilled Nursing Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment to tour the facility?

No appointment is necessary and you may visit any time Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am to 2:30pm.

Do you have a Dementia/Alzheimers unit?

No, however, we do admit residents with varying degrees of Dementia and Alzheimers and the admission would depend on our ability to provide quality care for that resident. That would be assessed during an admissions interview.

Do you have private rooms available?

There are both private and semi-private rooms on the Skilled Nursing unit. That is not a guarantee of availability at the time of admission but we do our best to accommodate the wishes of the resident as soon as possible.

What is your admission process?

First, the application must be filled out completely. If the applicant is in the hospital or another skilled nursing facility please have them fax the medical records for review by the admissions committee. Hospital records allow us to determine if the applicant qualifies for skilled nursing and if we can provide the appropriate level of care. If the applicant is at home, once the application has been received, we will schedule a visit to determine the level of care necessary.
