Mercy Center Personal Care Rooms

  • All rooms are private with a private lavatory. Showers are shared between two rooms. A tub is available.
  • Residents may bring some personal furniture as each resident’s taste is different. Bringing your own style and décor creates an opportunity for families to really give the resident rooms brightness and personality.
  • Available in each room is a bed, dresser, desk, desk chair, nightstand, lamp and recliner. Residents may provide linens and decorative items. If a resident has a personal chair or recliner, it is often helpful to bring that. Each resident’s taste is different.
  • A wall mounted flat screen TV is provided for each room as well as cable access.
  • Each room has a phone with internal access and the ability to receive calls. There is a monthly fee for making local calls from the room and an additional per minute cost for long distance calls; however, there are phones in the halls from which local calls can be made at no charge.
  • Hanging pictures is permitted. Maintenance will provide assistance.
  • Open flames and space heaters are not permitted by state law.

Mercy Center Skilled Nursing Unit Rooms

  • There are private and semi-private rooms in the Skilled Nursing Unit. The cost differs slightly between private and semi-private. A private room may not always be available upon admission but our staff will do their best to accommodate a resident’s wishes as soon as possible.
  • Residents are encouraged to bring to the facility those personal effects that will add to their comfort.
We encourage residents to personalize their living area with pictures, knick-knacks, etc.
  • Since rooms are fully furnished, furniture items must be pre-approved. Throw-rugs or carpeting are not permitted for safety reasons.
